Using google, I did a search for gay resorts in Australia. It looks as though Australia has more and better gay resorts than we have here in the U.S.

Has anyone here visited gay resorts in Australia? How did you like them?

Never been to a gay resort here, but there's a gay district in Sydney.

I was not able to find any gay resorts. But then again, I mainly stayed within Sydney.

My best friend and I stayed at the Turtle Cove resort, about an hour North of Cairns, to visit the Great Barrier Reef. It was great! Great layout, Great people, Great amenities. For as hidden and out-of-the-way it was, it was full of guests. Great time!

I've been to Oz several times, including a few times to Sydney. When I lived in Fiji (1994 - 2004), it wasn't a very long flight. The gay district in Sydney is the Oxford Street area. I've also been other places in Oz, but never to a resort. I'd really like to know what the gay resorts there are like.

When in Sydney, I generally stayed in the Kings Cross area, a couple times in the Crest Hotel. In January 2004 I drove all over Tassy in a rental car.

There are nude beaches in Sydney, but the times I was in Sydney I chose not to drive so getting to beaches would have been difficult. I get lost easily and because Sydney is very old, the streets generally run in odd directions. That, combined with having street signs in non-standard locations, would have guaranteed that I'd have become hopelessly lost. I even got lost trying to walk back from Rushcutters Bay to the Crest Hotel. However, I did succeed in walking from the Crest Hotel to the opera house and back without getting lost.

Many of the resorts seem to be in Queensland rather than in NSW.

I found some information on the Turtle Cove Resort:

It looks good on their web page.
