    Hey-

Anyone else listening to the Serial podcast? If so, what are your thoughts?

I've been listening and re-listening to it all week. I'm dying to talk to someone about it!

If you're interested, the website is serialpodcast.org but you can also listen for free on iTunes.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Edit: I accidentally posted this into the "All Things Gay" folder, when it obviously should be in "Arts and Entertaiment." I've deleted the former message, but let me know if it still comes up for you. Thanks!

I got hooked when I heard the first episode on This Anerican Life. I just finished the final episode last week. It's binge listening at its best. Glad they are going to do another season next year.

    Thanks...I will check it out...

I like the Moth, this American Life, and Ted Talks as well.

I used to listen to Feast of Fun but they stopped uploading to iTunes.

Serial is podcast about one reporter's attempt to suss out the truth regarding the murder of a teenaged girl over a decade ago. As Koenig (the reporter) puts it, "It's really hard to account for your time."

Currently listening to Ep. 10: The Best Defense is a Good Defense

I find it fascinating to hear how the events unfolded at the time; and some of the events were just glossed over in court.

I just listened to the entire first season on the airplane to Las Vegas and back. I found it fascinating how the details of the story were dissected. I also liked the way it became as much about the investigation process and the reporters self-relections as it was about getting to the truth of the crime.

Did you get a chance to read the interview(s) with Jay?

There is so much that bothers me about this case. Mainly, the BPD and there lack of accountability. Also the inherit racial bias that I wish Sarah would have talked a little bit more on.

And let's not forget there is only one person linking Adnan and his story keeps changing.

I'm a fan of Serial. In light of some new information, I'm re-listening to the whole season.
By the way, there is a shrimp sale at the Crab Crib!

I've read some of the interviews with Jay. It's definitely concerning that his story has changed so often.

At the end of it, I more or less agree with Deidre, the lawyer for the Innocence Project, when she says she would find Adnan not guilty but an official person of interest.

    Can't wait for Season 2!

I listened to the 12 episodes of the first season. Enjoyed it. But I think I missed something.

    SPOILER

They mentioned that they were going to do testing on the guy that was released from prison about 15 days prior to her killing as well as testing of Adnon. But I did not hear the results of the tests. I feel like they left it hanging without giving us the results.
