Since "The Interview" made so far, over 15 million dollars just from online sales and streaming. This is the first time that a major movies was immediately released to streaming sites such as Netflix and YouTube.
This might change on how movies would be viewed, instead of only theatres releasing movies, some movies could be available to streaming for these reasons.

-Some people won't go to the movie theater because of price or the inconvenience.

-Keep ahead of illegal copies and P2P streaming sites.

Do you think that more movies; especially films with a lower budgets or films which serves a niche market (indie, LGBT, subcultures) might be released via online streaming?
