I'll assume by successful you mean their monetary worth.

Larry Ellison. Some might find him attractive but I never did.

Likewise with his buddy Scott McNealy.

No, but I can give an example of an ugly dullard who hides behind a sock and asks relentlessly stupid questions...

Why is this even a difficult question? MOST successful people are unattractive even though height and attractiveness helps in terms of school and job applications and consideration for promotion. (And don't argue that it doesn't.)

Why don't you ask a tough question - like a list of attractive successful people who achieved their success solely on merit.

Oh, no....height? Please. Attractiveness might get you in a door of rather dubious repute....but when the guy that hired you gets canned, so do you....unless you managed to move upwards, "with no hard feelings."

Legacy is what counts. Ain't no way on this god's green earth G.W. got into Yale based on his own merits.

infinitefriend9 saidCurrently living and historical figures.

Well, *I'm* considered highly unattractive. Ask the RJ members who've met me. And I've had my ups & downs, with some modest career successes.

I've read studies that claim "beautiful" people have an easier time in life. The "dumb blonde" is perhaps the classic example.

Whereas unattractive men like me, plus I'm short of stature, too, another drawback, have to struggle much harder to get ahead.

But as for mega-successful ugly men, I suppose JP Morgan, already pictured above, would top my list. He suffered from rosacea, a deformity that affected his nose.

And there's US President Abraham Lincoln, whom contemporary critics called a monkey and the ugliest man in the country. Of course today Republican racists compare President Obama to a monkey, too, their way of calling him a N***er. Although I consider his wife Michele to be the most beautiful US First Lady in history, surpassing even Jacqueline Kennedy.

    Speaking of racists Bobbi

"And a rare moment when I happen to DISagree with Obama. Muslims have no business being within 100 miles of the WTC. In fact, as avowed enemies of everything the US stands for, the vast majority proponents of our destruction as a Democratic nation, I don't think they should be in this country at all. And how's THAT for a statement from an alleged ultra-liberal, left-wing socialist, as I am often called here?"

Ed Miliband, leader of the UK Labour party and at the minute is the bookies' favourite to be elected Prime Minister of the UK in this year's upcoming election. Politics aside, he's well known for being a bit of a weird looking human in general. Here's him indulging in a sandwich (to prove he is a man of the people):

I'm sure many people will assume that all attractive people get by on their looks, whether that's true or not. But, to answer your question, I'll go with the Obamas.
