This is how exciting my life is: at the end of every year I'm always looking forward to switching over to the new wall calendar I've bought. When I bought the 2013 calendar in late 2012 I thought it was cute, clever, etc. but by the end of the year I was bored with it; likewise with the 2014 calendar.

Really? I thought you of all people would have gone with the Warwick Rowers or Dieux du Stade...

Dunno. I thought of getting one to put in the home gym, but it might be too depressing, since there is also a mirror in there.

Our local community calendar changes in June.

Not that I know of. I usually do a full house clean once a month anyways.

It is time to get all of the greenhouse equipment cleaned up and working - time to start seed trays for spring flower baskets and plant sales. Also time to get busy with pruning the orchard.

I'm not sure I'd call these favorite things though. They do make a nice break from sitting at the desk all day. Later on, sitting at the desk makes a nice break from pruning!

This is going to sound really butch, but I love college football and I look forward to January 1 when competitive (for a lack of a really good word) bowl games are occurring. Right now, I'm watching Oregon beat the ever living crap out of Florida State.

I like to eat Black Eyed Peas on the first. It's an old wives tale of course for prosperity. So far, so good...icon_cool.gif

Look at the same guy(s) for a whole month?!   icon_eek.gif   It only takes me a few minutes of looking at a picture of a guy before ennui sets in. Maybe if I had something like those digital picture frames, that changed every day, with a calendar overlaid or below. But I think that's what's called a cell phone.

icon_mad.gif Argh. I totally spaced on this - thought I was just going to finish up some paperwork in the office this morning, so I could take the rest of the weekend off.

Totally forgot I have to set up new ledgers and tax files for the year. icon_rolleyes.gif
And only about three boxes full of stuff still needs to be interred into last year's ledger icon_redface.gif (Let the typo stand as is.)

I'm moving into my own place and it's the first time I'll be living on my own with no roommates so I'm excited about the prospect and so very nervous.

Unless you enjoy doing that stuff, quit being a masochist and hire an accountant.   icon_confused.gif

Even with TurboTax I break out into a cold sweat and start hyperventilating when I have to do my taxes.
