Single legged Hack squat

    Alright guys so i thought of trying something new the other day - a single legged hack squat - normally i can do about 310kg for 10reps or a little bit more but on this method i could only do 3 reps on 50kg. Was really good at pumping up my lower leg and was wondering if you guys had any ideas on how to improve this movement?

    I've always thought about doing that...

    I bet it would be a great hamstring exercise (since lunges are so good).

    However, I think that it would take a bit of experimenting with foot placement to get it just right since I would imagine that it would be semi-awkward.

    I don't have an suggestions on how to improve it, unfortunately...I've never done these.

    yea that was what i was hoping for as my hamstring are well lacking compared to my quads - so you recommenend lunges for hamstrings also? Alsoone extra point my left knee the day after i did this was well painful lol could barely walk so deffo agree i think this requires some experimentation - so if i do again and find the best way of doing it ill share again on here icon_smile.gif
