    It can be quite a hunt to find someone who'll be your friend and come over and cut your chicken so you can save money on uncut chicken AND eat more protein.

    Dude, get yourself the Wusthof Spatchcock Poultry Shears from Williams Sonoma. Best investment in a kitchen tool I ever made. Mine are 15 years old and they can still take a chicken apart quicker 'n you can gut a frog. Don't matter raw nor cooked neither. I checked just today--they still have 'em in their stores and their catalog.
