The Jewish minister's second time up finely spoke about houses of worship need to have windows so the prayers are not just for those inside but those outside as well.

The Reform Church minister's second time up spoke of a transgender woman who committed suicide.

The prayer for the service was a concentration on the word "bridges."

Watching the "Hour of Growth" (live streaming beginning at 1:30 Eastern time) where the ministers have Q&A with members of the audience (congregation and visitors).

The Muslim Minister in answering a question stated:

The Koran speaks more about Moses and Mary than Muhammad.

“O Be Glorious Light” a choral fanfare
    composed by Kenneth Dake

O be Glorious Light in the world!
A gleaming city on a hill,
a lamp shining on all in the house.

    Glow with God’s radiant love!
    Light revealed,
    Light embraced,
    Reflected mystery of amazing grace.

“With What Shall I Come Before the Lord”
    William Payn

    Walk humbly with our God.
With what shall I come before the Lord,
and bow myself before God on high?
God has told you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice,
and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with our God?
    — based on Micah 6:6, 8

    = = =

“Justice is love correcting that which revolts against love…
    Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle;
    the tireless exertions
and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.”
    — Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

    Jesus loves me.

Then, "Soon and Very Soon" by the recently passed, Andrae Crouch.

Just heard one of my best friends while I was living in NYC and attending church in person--his mother passed. Another friend from one of the choirs lost a family member.

    Today's Sermon:
60% of Christians don't believe in Satan
(but ISIS is giving people a reason to believe in Satan)
58% of Christians don't believe in the Holy Spirit

Read the book of Job to discover Satan, an accuser not a cause.

Listening to this excellent sermon, "Speak, Rev. Brown!"

Rev. Brown: You're a community of grace.

At the Solar System Astrological Level of God, people are not capable of affirming every type of person. The Astrological Level of God teaches us humility. Christianity teaches us grace. Not by reason can we be at peace with each other, it is by grace. Thank you for the lesson of the Marble Collegiate Church Community.

My lightbulb moment: of course the Herodians were against Jesus with his new kingdom.

Judas could not have betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver--it's not reason enough.

    11 a.m. Eastern Time Service

    Hosana means save us from.

{ Hosana can also reference Psalm 118: 25

    LORD, save us! LORD, grant us success! }

Save us from hurt, pain, and suffering.

There is a Collegiate church near where the 2nd Ave. explosion happened this past week. We pray for that church.

God empowers us with strength and courage for the journey.

During the sermon, mention of the book, Mere Christianity...I read that book a long time ago when my membership was young with Marble Collegiate Church.
