    Hey guys,

I've searched the forums and come across a few vegan recipe recommendations, but I'd like to hear more suggestions. Specifically, it would be great if anyone knows of any recipes with high protein content that are tasty, filling, and not too complex.

I've tried some tofu and brown rice recipes listed on bodybuilding.com, but I found myself hungry an hour after eating. Any suggestions?

Back when I still went to church I gave up meat for lent a couple years in a row. A friend pointed me to www.101cookbooks.com
Great food blog. Writer is vegetarian not vegan but most of her recipes can be modified. You can search by ingredient, vegan vs vegetarian, meal type, protein, etc.

Was just looking at thekitchn.com this morning. They often have vegan and vegetarian recipes. Several recently. Same for Serious Eats, Chow and most of the broad cooking sites. A lot of them call attention to veggie based meals as a change from meat. Great idea in my book because, though I was raised a meat eater, we always have lots of vegetables and Grandpa and Mom liked having gardens. If I sit down to dinner and there are four or five veggie dishes, I am loving it. Also, get hold of a copy of Mark Bittman's cookbook How to Cook Everything Vegetarian. Loads of good ideas.

If you're looking for protein I'd recommend trying seitan, I like the flavor and texture better than tofu. Though I learned a useful trick for tofu- freeze it and then drain it over night. It absorbs sauce/marinade better for more flavor and has a less squishy texture.

I've been vegan since I was 18 and one of the great things I've learned is that there is protein in everything!

If you want to top up on proteins I'd recommend more beans, nuts, and seeds. Add soaked almonds and cashews to smoothies, add sunflower seeds to stir fried vegetables, etc.

Tempeh is far superior to tofu and is more digestable as it is fermented. Seiten (wheat gluten) is tasty, but not that great for you in large amounts.

You can also top up with Vega protein powder. You can even add this stuff to hot cereal/oats to give you a protein punch in the morning before the gym. There are also Vega bars and Cliff builder bars to help you get through snacking/desert.

As a side note, your cum will taste much better as a vegan. Consider a wonderful side effect of a better, cleaner diet. You lover(s) will thank you!
