New Congress Begins Anti-Environment Attack With ‘No More National Parks’ Bill

"Despite the efforts of Rep. Young and his allies, new polling data shows that 70 percent of American voters strongly support efforts by President Obama to permanently protect some public lands for future generations as national monuments or wildlife refuges, including 76 percent of independent voters. The poll also found that more than two out of three Americans oppose efforts to stop the creation of new national monuments, parks and wilderness areas."

You can find just about any result you want to find in polls. It all depends on how the questions are worded.

"One of the goals of the new air quality standards President Obama recently announced would be to reduce asthma and other respiratory diseases which are linked to carbon emissions. Which do you think is the more likely outcome -- that the new standards will have significant impact or will have no real impact on the number of cases of asthma and other respiratory diseases?"

Significant impact No real impact Unsure

"Which of the following better reflects your view on climate change? I trust what scientists say when they warn about climate change. I think scientists manipulate their findings for political reasons."

Meta8 --- you do good posts most the time but this one won't fly far.

I'm trying to track this down but I am dead sure of it...
This poll done by Hart Research for Center for American Progress has NO dates for when the poll was taken and NO links back to the poll itself.

    I think I know why.
I remember another Hart Research poll done for Center for American Progress on the Think Progress web site with about these exact results from January - February 2012 ... right after that election.

I'll bet it's the same poll with the dates and links conveniently omitted.
