So you pick a perfect man, and then you rate yourself against that person.

For example, Hugh Jackman, witty, smart artistic and ridic handsome is a 10, therefore I would rate myself a 3.

    Your turn.

Old, not much money, not attractive, but smart & witty, and at least can pay my own way. A good dinner companion. And I know more useless facts than an encyclopedia, can quote from movie and stage scripts, and song lyrics by heart, always fun in conversations. Can also fix almost anything mechanical, helpful to have around the house.

Yeah this is loaded. Too low a score your fishing for compliments, too high your joking or unrealistic. That being said I say a 7 my strengths outweigh my weaknesses but in no way am I exceptional.

Rate yourself, and you limit yourself, rare others and you will seem negative.

I feel like the gay community does this too often, putting shallow interests above culture and community.

Square root of infinity, to the infinite power is still infinity, a rating anyone can have.

I would not want to rate myself against perfection. Wabi-sabi all the way!

Never a good idea to rate yourself against the hottest guys celebs. Just think of them as different breed of men LOL, Chris Pine gets my vote for a 10 btw.

This question makes no sense. What if your ideal man is NOT how you want to look yourself?
What if you want to sport a beard but you like your guys clean shaved?

Shouldn't there be different age categories? I can't be expected to compete with younger guys.

Comparing yourself to anybody is a recipe for disaster.

What a stupid thread to post. Hey guys rate yourself against someone you're placing on a glass pedestal, because we all know that's what makes people happy: comparing yourself to others, who literally get paid to be ultra attractive to tame the masses and continue self esteem depletion through stupid beauty narratives.

Pre-RJ, I would have considered myself a solid 7, even an 8 on good days.

Now I wouldn't say higher than 6. Thanks, guys :-P

Well, comparisons are usually mean to be misleading...

    Tom Brady 10
    Me 15

    He threw an interception yesterday.
    I didn't.

(And can you believe he gets paid millions more than I do?)
