I have always seen guys wear wifebeaters under their sleeveless or cut off T shirts. I myself have done it from time to time just cause it seems like its in style. Is there any other reason for this? It just seems like everytime I see a guy in a cut off T shirt, when I see him from the side I can see that he has a wifebeater on too. Anyone???

Sure. I do that at the gym sometimes. Nice tight wifebeater wicks up sweat, and the looser sleeveless tee over it keeps me covered and decent.

Why not just go in a wifebeater?

    I'm spotting a theme. Let's start a petition.

Why not just go in a wifebeater?

Over the course of a workout, it gets soaked. Not only am I a little too modest to swagger around the weightroom in a transparent skin-tight tanktop, I don't like my soaked clothing sticking to the bench when I'm lifting.

    respect on the bench staining.

The idea of you in "a transparent skin-tight tanktop" is a bit much for me to deal with. I think I need to sit down. icon_lol.gif
