Has anyone heard of brain entrainment?
    Does it really work ?

    Wiki said this
" Brainwave entrainment is any practice that aims to cause brainwave frequencies to fall into step with a periodic stimulus having a frequency corresponding to the intended brain-state (for example, to induce sleep), usually attempted with the use of specialized software. It purportedly depends upon a "frequency following" response on the assumption that the human brain has a tendency to change its dominant EEG frequency towards the frequency of a dominant external stimulus.[citation needed] Such a stimulus may be aural, as in the case of binaural or monaural beats and isochronic tones, photic (visual), as with a dreamachine, a combination of the two with a mind machine, or electromagnetic radiation."

could this really change how people act and think

For people who do not know what it is here are some links:

Entrainment exists, i work with this, but it only means that brain is engaged with something in the environment

it doesn't mean that we're able to engage the brain to tell it what to do -yet -...some people are looking into how to do it i suppose!

People with ADHD already focus more than the average person.

As a person who's been diagnosed 3 times with ADHD by 3 different shrinks, I prefer to call it "Hyper-Attentiveness" because people with this blessing tend to be more focused on things that are of more immediate concern, rather than just going with the flow like "normal" people do.

And that's exactly what we see in the music and arts industries...people who have the natural ability to block out secondary stimuli and focus on what matters to them. I don't think I've ever met a musician or artist who isn't hyper-attentive.
