    I never realized how many variations there are of ab exercises until I started watching these YouTube ab workouts.

    This is not from the same guy - but he has some kick-ass exercises that I personally feel really target the muscles... You should check it out:

    Yeah, and the general consensus is that workouts should not be routine that when you mix up exercise it's more effective . Even though I get a rush doing these I bet if I did them routinely that would wear off. So I'm going to mix it up weekly.

    Brendan Meyers - honeydicker's cited above - has a bunch of great ab exercises - including the one alpha cited - they're all awesome and yes, definitely, MIX IT UP! icon_biggrin.gif

    I do these with a barbell balanced just above the hip below the ribcage - increases stamina, strength and appearance even faster!!!

    I do these with a barbell balanced just above the hip below the ribcage - increases stamina, strength and appearance even faster!!!



    Weighted crunches are something I've added based on advice from j_in_az. I' ve see a difference already . I use a 35 lb weight on my chest.

    Exercise in general and weight lifting in particular have been proven to cause several chemical reactions in the brain that help to alleviate depression and anxiety.

    Men's Health had that years ago when this guy on the video was in high school. Good reminder though.
