If you like scavenger hunts, you will like the scavenger hunts that "Our Wisconsin" magazine and Russ Darrow Car Dealerships have been having here. Last year and the year before they hid a car key to a Kia Soul in a public park in Wisconsin that was put in a sealed plastic bag and whoever finds the key wins the car. There were instructions inside the bag with a number to call, if you found it. This past year the winner could get $15,000 off of any used or new car on the lot at a Russ Darrow dealership. They give a clue in each issue of the mag and also eliminate 10 counties in each issue where the key is not hidden. It took 8 months to find after 4 clues and eliminating 40 counties. It was found last fall under a park bench in Wyalusing State Park near Prairie du Chien. They are going to have another scavenger hunt this spring--which encourages people to visit Wisconsin this year because the contest is not just limited to residents of Wisconsin or even paid subscribers, but is open to anyone. I visited a lot of different parks last year on weekends and summer vacations looking for the key. I don't really have a need for a car right now. But I want money for a new bike, so I would sell it for a tri bike, if I find the key.
