    Geez, I could write a book on it. I tested POZ in 1985, probably POZ since 1982.

    As a long term survivor/slow progressor "survivor's guilt" is not uncommon. There isn't a grand plan of "why I'm still here" but I live life like it matters.

    It's horrible. I never lived it being a 90's kid, but just based on stories it sounds like one of the scariest things imaginable. To be in a large gay community and just having people die every day like that, with no test to find out your status, no information.

    I know the virus was first found in 1981/1982, but when did they actually introduce the first drugs for it?
