    Hi all,

As the title suggests, I am looking to get into bodybuilding and begin lifting some weights, having only dabbled previously I have now decided to commit.

I know two things are key: gym technique and diet. It is on these two accounts I was wondering if anyone is able to help point me in the right direction or even list some tips of their own.

I have read a lot around the subject (perpetual student), but know there's no one better to ask than the people doing it themselves.

    SO, I ask you:
    (A) Are there any references that you rate for beginning in the gym i.e. technique, weights, starting weights, machines etc
    (B) Diet plans (food, supplements, you name it)

Any advice at all would be great and I look forward to hearing back from some of you.

If you have a fast metabolism like me, my advice is to pack up on carbs. That was what I was told when I said I wanted to get bigger. I hope you enjoy bodybuilding.

If you want to compete... get a trainer.

There are a lot of opinions and variety, but you need to put together a solid plan and execute..

Take it one day at a time one step at a time. Like they say Rome wasn't built in a day. Stay focused and you will succeed.
