Being in the gay world and be to totally accepted in the mainstream gay community I mean I work so hard to be accepted work out a lot get a haircut every week do this do that and sometimes it all blows up in my face I just don't know what to do whilst I love working hard at being attractive it's so tiring and expensive and to the point where I get paranoid about my looks and hate being black

Sometimes I wish I could be a bit more myself but gotta keep this facade going so as long as I am in the gay world this can never be

Right, you'll never be happy with that attitude. London is full of gay guys of all types. Just be yourself, and keep trying to look good. An no one needs a haircut every week unless they are a fashion model.

You have to like yourself first and if you don't you will never be happy.

If I respect myself based on my achievements, diligence, work and treatment of others (among other reasons), things like "appealing to the gay community" (wtf!!) won't matter.

I can say, that is absolutely at the bottom of my bucket list~!

I feel for you... I know how you feel and what it's like being in your shoes. Just stay positive and know that no matter what, you'll make it to the end of the dark forest and into sun filled meadow. :-)

Stop giving a fuck about being attractive, just be your fucking self. It's really not that hard, we just streamline the shit out of ourselves to make others feel comfortable. Do what you want, and say what you want. People will respect you more, even if they don't like you.

I think you're attractive. But I would never date a man with an attitude like yours.

"I will never be happy" is a self fulfilling prophecy. As long as you believe it, it's true.

There is a difference between "tough love" and "kicking a man while he's down"

This post, like so many on this site, seems to relish in the latter.

You look just fine, and personality does go a long way. Some days, I don't like the way I look at all either. That's just normal.

I know but the OP seems to have a problem specifically with being Black.

I'm so confused. Why do you hate being black? And how does that relate to your happiness?

The truth is nearly never pretty. The OP isn't a child. He needs to hear the truth in all it's harshness. Wyndahoi is perfectly correct.

Then you probably have a misunderstanding about the world we live in.
I think it's true that a lot of people are very superficial, but that can only matter so much to you personally if you're very superficial yourself.

    1. You are totally completely wrong about almost everything you post.

    2. Your posts wreak of amateur trolling at best. Malignant, whiny, pity-seeking at worst.

    3. There is no one definition of attractive and it is therefore impossible to qualify what is attractive "enough."

    4. While there is physically absolutely nothing wrong or unattractive about you, your personality and way of being with the world around you is downright deformed.

    5. Give these tedious, monotonous threads a rest already. They are dull and take up valuable space that could be occupied by such vital topics as to what the TRUE definition of Masculinity is or walking around naked in the locker room. If you feel less than your very best, DO something about it or just accept your self-proclaimed mediocrity but for the Love of G-D -- shit or get off the pot Dude...change the damned channel already.

Yeah but there is still s golden standard of beauty in the gay world the image of the hot white male with brimming hair Adonis like model and built like a shit house is the image that gay men desire or the majority would wanna sleep with or aspire to look like

    Hello,
I do because I am black and have black I.e non straight hair cannot go at least two weeks without an haircut
In truth, you are quite attractive and have a wonderful body. At you current age, it looks like nothing will change, unless you are starving yourself, but age can make body maintenance much more difficult.

You seem to concentrate on the fact that you are black, but you should know, for example, that I love dark colored men too! I LOVE the contracts of white and black in every situation and detail! Yum!

Anyhow, I am worried if you really are posting this "100" times because depressed people, OCD people, etc. can regularly seek help. If true, please seek counseling.

In contrast but similar, my professional work would cause "perfection syndrome" and it sucks. As an example, my handwriting had to be beautiful, I could make no documentation errors, I could make no calculation errors obviously, etc. It is a stressful life, and chronic stress really is a killer.

Therefore, look in the mirror and say: "I am hot admit, and to many men I will always be hot even if I put on some weight!"

If not, your beautiful insides can start being effective as well.
