The April/May 2014 The Mountain Astrologer has an article on page 75 about The Prenatal Solar Eclipse in Your Natal Chart by Sandra-Leigh Serio.

Apparently Jan Spiller and Karen McCoy speak about this in their book, Spiritual Astrology.

    Instructions:
Look to no more than six months before your birthday and up until the day you were born. Identify the solar eclipse, its sign, degrees, and minutes.

I've identified Feb. 5th, 1962, Sun and Moon in Aquarius 15 degrees 42 minutes.

But my north node is not near that. Supposedly, the North Node and the Prenatal Solar Eclipse are supposed to coincide: It is believed that in order to fulfill your mission and purpose in this lifetime, you have to embrace, expand, and express the qualities of the sign, element, and house position.

The Prenatal Eclipse does not have to be the same sign as your NN, we can learn more than 1 thing during an incarnation.

Anyways that's just my Initial view.

    A Different Reply

I tried it for me: my North Node and my prenatal eclipse are BOTH in Pisces, and in House 9. Spooky.

Spooky? No. Your purpose is not divided. Instead of two lessons, you have one. You saw mine: North Node in H1, PNE in H7, close to my south node.

    The article continues:

    PNE in the Four Elements

In order to fulfill your mission and purpose in this lifetime, you have to embrace, expand, and express the qualities of that sign, element, and house position.

    If the PNE is

in a fire sign, you have to work with spiritual and inspirational energies and enthusiastically motivate and encourage those around you.

in an earth sign, you have to embrace and work with the physical or sensory energies by honoring and attending to the needs and activities of the body

in an air sign, you have to develop your thought processes and communication abilities by gathering and sharing knowledge and information

in a water sign, you have to allow for the flow of intuition, imagination, and emotions and develop compassion for all living creatures.

So: Aquarius is Air House Position is H7.

These tasks may be difficult or not, depending on your individual horoscope. Say you have a lot of fire and air in your chart but only one or two planets in water signs, and you come into the Earth plane with your PNE in a water sign, an element that is not natural to you.

As a result, you may struggle with expressing your emotions and showing compassion for other beings. You may be more inclined to discount your intuition and gut reactions, but have to acknowledge these particular energies and allow them a place in your life IF YOU ARE TO GROW AND EVOLVE.

Google: "Astrology and Key Planet and Prenatal Eclipse"

    I'll explain later, maybe.

The distance in degrees between the prenatal eclipse and the next planet in your chart, moving counterclockwise, represents the number of years between incarnations.

If there is a short distance, ten years or less, you may have died a sudden, tragic, accidental, or violent death, and felt the need to reincarnate as soon as there was a vehicle more or less in keeping with your karmic destiny.

The term for this planet is the Key planet because it is the key to circumstances from a past life that affect your current life.

The Key planet reveals much info about your most recent incarnation prior to this one, and the aspects to that planet as well as the sign and house position of the Key planet, are said to reveal the conditions surrounding your death in that lifetime. (The circumstances of that life and your subsequent death have a direct bearing on your present life.)

Some see the PNE as a career indicator because that is one way to fulfill the purpose it points toward.

Another perspective is to view it as the dharmic path you have agreed to enter before you were born. (See Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life between Lives by Michael Newton.)

From the message sent to Michael Newton's institute

The Newton Institute for Life between Lives Hypnotherapy
    www.newtoninstitute.org

from the article "The Prenatal Solar Eclipse in Your Natal Chart" by Sandra-Leigh Serio / April/May 2014 The Mountain Astrologer

    So, I wrote her:

    Hi,

I read Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life between Lives by Michael Newton.

To the extent that the distance between the PNE and the nearest planet represent the years between incarnations, I’m thinking there can be thousands of years between reincarnations, let alone incarnations to places outside of the Solar System of our Astrology.

    Kind regards,

    Steve

Please ask some clients about this if they can speak to Astrology. Thank you.
