What were your thoughts on the season opener of Lost?
I thought it was awesome. A great start to the season.

Where'd you lose them? Have you filed a missing persons report yet?

It was awesome. Sun is really in ass-kicking mode this season. She will have her vengeance!

Sun actually surprised me. She is now the badass that Kate use to be.I like how things just keep going back and forward in time.

    SPOILER ALERT!

Yes it was good, lots to digest though. The time shifting issues can get pretty complicated very fast if they aren't careful with the writing.

The Anna Lucia cameo really surprised me, I think I actually screamed out loud!

Yes that was great, I hope Hurley gets to see her, maybe through a time shift, or just a visit like Anna Lucia. It's almost as good a love story as Desmond and Penelope.

I have a strong hunch that she is unknowingly pregnant.

I'd decided I was done with Lost when I got tired of waiting until late January to see it resume. I have better things to do with my limited attention span, I figured.

Then I downloaded the season premiere today. I'm weak, weak, weak.

HAHAHAHA! zdrew, the island calls you too! icon_lol.gif

I think the opener was brilliant. Adding the time shift component to the story line creates a new line of thinking in following the episodes and will finally start answer some questions.

SPOILERS if you haven't seen the first two hours:

Like Obama's speech, I thought the start to Lost wasn't as whiz-bang as I expected. But, they covered a lot of territory in the two hours. A lot of brief appearances (I knew Ana Lucia was coming back at some point, but had forgotten until the moment Hurley was pulled over, so when a woman cop got out of the patrol car, I was giddy with excitement. But, did she have to mention Libby?). Sun definitely is a force to reckoned with! 70 hours! Wow, things are going to be moving a lot faster than I expected!

I think I am the only one who wasn't in love. I enjoyed the time travel aspect in the last season, but I'm a little unsure if I'm a fan of the rules of it so far. Maybe it'll get explained better as the story continues, but I need some solid answers on why people and some objects travel through time and others don't. Oh well, either way it still beats the time travel rules in Heroes.

I loved it. I just became a Lost fan. I watched seasons 1-4 in a month. I am hooked on this show. I thought the premiere was so good. I can not believe how good the writing is.

Nah I think it's more likely she's having bad effects of the time shift like the mouse and that guy on the freighter. She needs to find her constant like Desmond did.

I loved the double episode! I love Hurley's character and Cheech as his dad! The Ana Lucia part was great too!! I think Elizabeth Mitchell who plays Juliet is an awesome actress. I cannot believe that she was not nominated last season for an Emmy!!

My favorite part was seeing Ethan alive and not as a "ghost" like Ana Lucia.
