Back, back in time we go; five years, to be exact. To quote the Queen Mum, "That was a very long time ago."

Scott Walker is a good man and a effective governor for Wisconsin. I am not keen on him being a fundamentalist but that is just one drawback. Otherwise he is doing a great job keeping Wisconsin fiscally stable. Some of you extremist liberal hens will do anything possible to trash this honorable man because he is a republican who stood up against the corrupt labor unions and the unmotivated urban poor. Oh well, grow up and get over it.

Attacking education and teacher rights is not honorable. Very dishonorable for sure.

Attacking education, baloney. Some of these unionized teachers don't give a shit about the kids and their unsatisfactory job performance shows that they are only interested in their tenure and getting those lovely retirement benefits. The same for these other public employee unions, all they do is demand, demand, and demand more unreasonable and unfeasible wage and benefit increases. Well the taxpayers are broke and fed up with these unionized public employees and their costly demands in addition to all the plush perks they all get at taxpayer expense.

Thanks to Hillary's incompetence as Secretary of State, these innocent Americans lost their lives just doing their jobs. Yet the stupid, ultra leftist fools on here want to vote for this bimbo in 2016. On the other hand, Governor Scott Walker was just sticking up for the overburdened taxpayers and forcing these unionized public employees to make do and live within their means and no lives were lost. Yet Scott Walker is an evil, vicious man. Go figure.icon_mad.gif

Ambassador Stevens lost his life because he unwisely decided, contrary to US State Dept policy, to personally put himself in harm's way in Benghazi.

Once he was under siege there was little the US State Department could do, 5000 miles away, to rescue him. We had no immediate reaction forces that could respond, since he hadn't notified State he was going there.

Plus the scene on the ground was unclear to Washington. It's called the "fog of war", as is taught at the US Army War College, that I attended. You simply don't know. No one can. You're working in the dark.

But Hillary Clinton is being blamed for the death of an Ambassador who violated guidelines, and got himself killed. Tragic, but not her fault. Nothing she or anyone else could have done to save the Ambassador, after his ill-advised voluntary actions.

The comparison of Secretary of State to County Executive is kind of silly.

What stops the argument is Hillary Clinton's own directive that states not to do this. She put out a rule to the agency forbidding the practice specifically. With potential national security implication as opposed to at its worst purely political ramifications at Walkers level that went on with his aide( not Walker).

When there was a subpoena for the Benghazi affair. Not 1 Hilary email came along. That is where I believe the issue will be.

Did she also pay for this server by herself or was it reimbursed?

Kind of sillyicon_question.gif You are being too polite. This comparison of a obscure county executive to the Secretary of State is ridiculous. But this is how low extremist liberal hens will stoop to try to make up negative dirt on a politician they just don't like because he is standing up for the overburdened taxpayers at the expense of one of their favored groups. But dig into the past history of the hapless Hillary ho and expose the unpleasant truth about her and these leftist lunatics get all bent out of shape.

Accepting a certain level of corruption and influence pedaling Clinton the husband was far more closer to a Constitutional executive than the current President.

And even in a divided Congress deals were made. This President is an immature narcissist and we would do much better for Hilary to take over now IMHO.

Quite true. It's also true that Walker didn't do that.

Agree w/ you both. My dad was president of his teachers' union local for a spell in the '50s, and his two greatest problems were interfering administrators and lazy teachers who put union activity and securing their own tenure above teaching, or the overall welfare of their students. The common tie? Degrees in Education, worst of all the useless Ed.D., instead of the subject in which they taught. Walker seems to have a good balanced perspective, and I admire him for his courage in taking on the forces he has.

This is the current situation in Buffalo public schools, lazy unionized teachers and ineffective administrators who don't give a shit about the kids and are just buying their time with the full blessing of the democrats in city hall. It is no wonder that Buffalo now has the worst public school system in
New York. Another valid reason for a joint republican/independent takeover of most of these older northern cities like Buffalo, Detroit, Milwaukee, etc. Monopoly democratic rule destroyed these cities and that is proven fact.icon_mad.gif

Actually it's Republicans who enforce a test for party purity, of ideological conformity, the unified "Party of No" in the last 2 Congresses. It's the great weakness of Democrats that they DON'T have such standards, the "Party of Diversity", because it reduces their effectiveness politically.

But typical of Republican tactics to accuse Democrats of the very things that they themselves commit. A great failing of Democratic politicians is that they don't get ahead of these issues like Republicans do, take the initiative and attack first.

Instead, Democrats are too often in a reactive mode, which Republicans exploit, a "day late and a dollar short" as the old expression went. Democrats are more concerned with governing, Republicans in grabbing power. And so far that Republican formula has worked. icon_sad.gif

I see all the parallels between a county government supervisor and secret email correspondence and a secretary of state taking "charitable donations" from spuriously friendly nations who has already broken laws that she forced others to resign for doing the same thing she did.

And we haven't even gotten into the issue of the fact that she has not not relinquished her own private servers that she used exclusively for transmitting classified documents.

When they find out Walker was exclusively using a private email server with full knowledge of laws of that being illegal in Milwaukee County they might have a legitimate bitch.

On Scott Walker's secret emails in Milwaukee

I did some quick research this on it this morning

It all stems from an investigation that started May 14, 2010 almost 5 years ago.

looking at things chronologically, there sure hasn't been much interest in this story until Hillary's private emails were revealed in the NYT.

Huffington Post didn't pick up the story until january 30, 2012.

The first online story I found by the Milwaukee Sentinel is from Feb. 19, 2014
    http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/court-set-to-release-emails-documents-tied-to-ex-aide-to-scott-walker-b99208267z1-246128301.html

The Sentinel's next mention of it was to quote from a Fox Interview with the governor on February 23, 2014. In the article Walker is quoted as saying, "The bottom line is a Democrat who led the district attorney's office looked at all this, decided not to charge anything other than the individuals you mentioned, who were people who had worked for the county in the past but don't work for me today."

It's called "reforming education" by allowing school choice. I don't agree, but he gives each county the authority to choose how to spend its millions on wasted union hack public schools. I would say he should cut spending more.
