3 reasons not to buy the Apple Watch

    First-generation devices have fewer features

I've been to the Apple site. And the watch I wanted in Apple previews I thought would cost around $500, actually costs $999.

Well, that's a bit much for me. Not that I couldn't afford it, but I have a husband to think about. And that kind of personal indulgence would take away from our family resources, that might be spent elsewhere, on him and both of us.

So I've gotta think about this. I've bought him thousands of dollars of watches, because he collects them, I've had to buy him display boxes for them. And I've bought him thousands of dollars of kitchen appliances. Not to mention the latest computer and cell phone toys there are.

But for myself... no, not what I do. And that price kinda goes over the line, for a wristwatch. I may wait this one out.

The 2nd paragraph makes me glad I'm single.

I'll be getting the Apple watch this summer...after buying the DJI Inspire 1. icon_lol.gif

Let's face it.. You're getting one. Actually two. One for yourself and your husband. You're going to pre-order as soon as it becomes available. icon_lol.gif

I'm definitely going to subscribe to HBO Now, but as for the Apple watch I'm gonna wait and watch. I'm not quite sold on it and will wait for my early adopting coworkers to get theirs first to see how they work out.

HBO Now will be an Apple exclusive for a few months. Then it will be offered to other service providers.. Amazon Prime, Google Play, Playstation TV, etc.

Personally, I wouldn't get the Apple TV. It's a few years old now. The fact that they reduced the price, tells me they're trying to dump any remaining inventory. The next Apple TV will probably be smaller and have more capable hardware.
