    This one is fascinating...

1/5 of the World's population believe that Jesus was a Muslim.

If Jesus was god as he said he was, he didn't have to "learn" anything.

Originally titled How to Read a Myth, and based on the introductory class on mythology that he had been teaching at Sarah Lawrence College, The Hero with a Thousand Faces was published in 1949 as Campbell's first foray as a solo author; it established his name outside of scholarly circles and remains, arguably, his most influential work to this day. The book argues that hero stories such as Krishna, Buddha, Apollonius of Tyana, and Jesus all share a similar mythological basis

When did Jesus say he was God? There are many interpretations of Jesus and Paul had his own agenda.

I met a couple that spent 7 years in an Ashram in India. They claim that during their time there they discovered that it was the same Ashram were Jesus learned and later taught. Apparently it is common knowledge. They even showed me a picture of a drawing that Esu had made. It's kinda funny that we are oblivious to the fact that "our" history of the world is so ethenocentric.

If you have to ask I can only answer that you don't know your NT very well.

I can only go by what is written in the bible. You can speculate if Jesus really said what is recorded in the bible all you want or if it was just words put in his mouth; however, you have no way of truly knowing so I have to take the words at face value.

Anyone can claim anything. What was the evidence to bolster the claim? Did they see his initials carved in one of the desks?

How much of any of our knowledge is first hand? The couple cashed out, studied in India for 8 years and they came here to teach what they had learned so they had more credibility them most . They weren't Christians either.
