That is just silly, and I don't think it does anything to advance the acceptance of same-gender marriages. It seems frivolous and trivializes marriage.

For the sake of full disclosure, I am a single man who would very much like to find "the one" to marry.

I am speechless. I simply can yet articulate my opinion on this. I'll admit I do find it absurd, but it is simply because it is a new concept to me.

Anyone who is gay and single at 40 is single (in most cases) due to his own fault...it takes a lot of patience, understanding, tolerance and acceptance to build a succesful relationship....those who remain single and keep complaining about it should look into themselves and understand why they failed at relationships in the first place instead of blaming it on other forces.

This guy is just an attention hungry loser....he probably wants a type of guy he cant get and wont have realistic expectations....this kind of publicity is just sad.

Interesting concept. Instead of a "Doe defendant," he's named a "Doe co-respondent?" Or, would it be a representative action, sub nomine himself and all others similarly situated? How would this suit be served, and upon whom? By publication in the personals? Where's that hot shot Hague lawyer when we need him???
