Well, this could have gay impact. How would different parts of the country protect gay rights. I wouldnt particularly want to get stuck in Virginia without the rest of the nation. But then, I am all ready for northern Va to leave Va right now. ...I even have my bumper stickers printed....FREE NORTHERN VIRGINIA

That is great! A little off in not giving Virginia its due in participating designing and establishing this country. Without George Washington and his character, our revolution would have failed just like the French and Russian did later.

I did not spend 12 years of my life in the Army so some discontented uber-liberal, and a bigoted neo conservative religionist could rip this country apart for their own petty preconceived notions of how everyone else should agree with them.

These people at both extremes make me sick.

Thank god for the most famous Republican of them all.

The balkinization of the US is not the answer; communication, respect, equality before the law, and compromise are.

What else does a dumb shit kicking ex jock from rural GA do when he looses a scholarship and drops out of college?

I enjoyed it. I was very good at what I did.

Those are probably the best and most honest reasons I have ever heard for joining the military. I salute you, sir!

Yeah, well - probably no more honest than any other answer you ever got though, like with anything there were a multitude of reasons...
