Muscle fetish vs typically attracted

Hi. In my humble opinion, most gay guys find muscles attractive on a man. However, some gay guys take that attraction to the extreme, and really fetishize them. I consider myself to fall into the latter category.

To me, muscles aren't just a nice part of a man's body. They're sexually alluring and mesmerizing. A muscular man could leave his underwear on and just flex and let me feel his muscles, and I could get off in a hot second.

I've always found it peculiar how some women/gay guys can be so nonchalant about their muscular boyfriends. "Yeah, his arms feel nice." or, "His chest is nice." whereas I'm more like, "His biceps feel like fucking rocks, I could squeeze them all day." I really get into it.

Does anyone else feel like there's a distinction between a muscle 'fetish' and being typically attracted to a muscular guy?

Sure. It's called Muscle Worship. And it is a fetish that goes beyond appreciation. Usually has dom/sub characteristics.

It's obviously nice to look at muscled men, but I don't have any muscle fetish. I'm not going to run after a man just because he has muscles. I've realized a fit/muscled body doesn't guarantee good sex, like someone with average body doesn't mean average sex. Yes, I do have certain level of fitness I look for. I don't obsesses with the perfection or muscle size.
I do understand your point of view about muscle fetish, where you've visually trained yourself to be only aroused by very fit guys with pronounced muscle, like how size queens enjoy the visual appeal of big dicks. The only thing I would advise is, if you're looking for a partner, your standard for physical characteristics should be flexible or you're in for a long search.

Why did you assume I'm only attracted to muscular guys?

May be, because I often see fetish becoming attraction, like BDSM or leather. That's why I assumed.

Because he's proven himself to be a moron who doesn't comprehend what he reads. In his own words "I interpret what you wrote."

I'm less about muscles and more about height-weight proportionality and a solid frame. Do muscles sometimes come with that? Of course. But I know several guys who are tall with good shoulders and legs who aren't muscular at all who I fantasize about more often than anyone who has the body of an athlete or bodybuilder.

That's what I should expect from you now? Following me and attacking me, like you do with Pazzy or anyone else who shows you what a hypocrite you're. Great! Even when so many poster came forward to call you out on your hypocrisy, you like a true hypocrite won't accept your hypocrisy. Carry on!icon_lol.gif

I'm going to quote CHER and TAI from CLUELESS :

**Ewhh, I hate muscles** lol, and Tai Replied **You know what I don't really care either way, just as long as his u know what isn't crooked.**

I don't really care that much about muscles steroid guys. Lol, I'm not looking for a super buff perfect tan/gym fitness god. As long as he's lean, skinny, toned, swimmer built. That's so HOT. It goes back to my HS and college years, I always had crushes on cute tall lean swimmer dudes. I even went to a couple of swim meets/practice just to check out the hot dudes. (God, that sounded SO GAY). icon_redface.gif

OP, I feel I can relate somewhat to how you feel. I too, feel I may have a case of muscle fetish but I'm more into the beefy/bulky look rather than the ultra shredded look.

Like a bodybuilder for example. I'm much more attracted to his off-season body over his competitive body. Abs & veins don't really do anything for me. I'd take a big chest with no abs over the latter with abs. It's really the bulk/beefiness that these off-season guys have the completely capture me. And they don't have to be all that big either.

And like you, the guy could have just his underwear on and flex and I'd still be really into him lol.

So I tend to be typically attracted to guys like I just described even though I don't look like them. It's not a issue of me wanting to be them, frankly, I'm fine with my smaller build. It's the contrast that enamors me.

Anyway, I'm sure this is common for a lot of guys so you aren't alone in this feeling.

Nope. I do not have any muscle fetish. Yup, I fined nicely toned guys very attractive.

If a dude happens to be buff, and sweats it, it's a major turn off in my books. If he stays cool about it, this is a major turn on.

Dudes who are chiseled and wiry invariably turn out to be my first pick thoughicon_biggrin.gif
