It's been a bit of a struggle because, ironically, the libretto was originally English, translated for Handel into very stodgy 'libretto Italian', but this is the best I could do with it:

    Cara sposa, amante cara,
    Dove sei?
    Deh! Ritorna a' pianti miei!

    Del vostro Erebo sull'ara,
    Colla face dello sdegno
Io vi sfido, o spiriti rei

    Beloved spouse, dearest heart,
    Where art thou?
Woe! Return to him who weeps!

O guilty spirits from thy Erebus beneath the furrows*,
My face one of complete contempt,
    I defy thee!

    *i.e. Hades, the underworld.

Who dare call it a sad sepulchre? Seeing the husband’s just devotion,
One might readily exclaim: ‘Yes, I see that this is a minister of one
Who lately created a shrine for his eternal race, and set new stars
In another heaven.' - The Silvae of Statius, v, I, "Consolation on the Death of Priscilla"

More like, "Consolation for a Husband on the Death of His Wife, Priscilla"
