Since it might be the series finale so I just wanna talk about how wonderful the last episode was.

    -Spoiler---
It felt so real. Like the movie Weekend (2011).
Now Patrick learn so much about Kevin. And how he realized that moving in with him was probably an impulse decision because of his relationship with his mother and the fact that she's divorcing his dad.

And the big fight scene was amazing, it just felt real.
For those who don't know, Patrick discover that Kevin has a Grindr profile. And then after successfully convince Patrick that it means nothing, he drop the bomb that they should consider an open relationship. Patrick's friends, who know Patrick to his very core, already saying "oh they're over" after knowing about Kevin's Grindr. And I love it that Kevin throw it back to his face, saying he's not that innocent either, "what about when you're still going out with Richie, but you let me fuck you, in the office, without a condom". No one is "the good" and "the bad" here. (Patrick was still with Richie when he hook up with Kevin. then they broke up for other reasons. and then Kevin left his boyfriend for Patrick)

Now that the "Prince Kevin" fantasy is gone, and realizing that romantic relationships are usually messy, life is not black and white, Patrick learn a good lesson.
And the scene where he found the necklace that Richie gave him, in a box written "Valuables". Is just so good. The underlying message of that scene. And then when Patrick meet Ritchie at the end of the episode, and asked for a haircut. Ritchie said, "are you ready?". Patrick said, "I'm ready".

In season 1 finale, Ritchie broke up with Patrick, "saying I'm not gonna let myself fall in love with you if you're not ready". Patrick, who just before that, let Kevin fuck him in the office for the first time, just couldn't say anything and just nodded. The tears was for Ritchie.
Now, in season 2, the tears was for Kevin. And Patrick, saying now, "I'm ready!" was just so poetic. Not necessarily ready for Ritchie. It's just for a haircut. But somehow it just felt like he's also saying he's ready to take a new chapter with knowing more about what he want in his life.
    The End

I just finished watching season 1. Wow, can't wait for season 2! I love this show, and Jonathan Groff, who plays Patrick, is just so damn adorable.

Yes! After that disappointing Empire season finale, Looking delivered in spades. What a beautifully written, directed and acted episode. Those final scenes between Kevin and Patrick were very real and honest. It better come back for season 3, because season 2 delivered and then some. #TeamRitchie

Yeah, I have thoroughly enjoyed this season. People keep bashing it for boring, but I find this show very realistic, well written and acted. If you're looking for adonises having sex all the time, then this show isn't for you. I am so praying for another season.

I really love this series. Ever since QAF ended years ago I hoped someone would start something new.

As much as I liked this series, I didn't find this second season as great. Probably bc it was a lot newer back then.

This is one great series (for selected audiences) that explores gay issues in more depth than the typical gay character depictions on cable TV. I was a bit concerned that the writers might change the gayness of the story to appeal to M/M romance fans.

I do like this series, the characters and actors. A bit of idealistic fun w/a touch of realism(?).

Russel Toveys' character should NOT have asked for an open relationship on moving in day, duhhh. But, we needed a little drama didnt we. He should have known Patric (kids got a nice big can I wish they'd show it more) was a romantic and idealist and that he was a newbie to relationships?

The tone of the door bell! How about the tone of their relationship?

I loved the roving/walking around the building argument scene. We should all be so lucky as to have a reasoned(?) tempered argument rather than the way they can devolve.

If there isn't a season 3, I am going to miss Russel Toveys bare butt. He/they love to show it off.

HBO’s President of Programming, openly gay, Michael Lombardo admits it was ‘very painful’ to cancel Looking

'I was very proud that there was a show that felt like it was dealing very honestly and openly with gay men and their lives'

It will, however, be getting a send-off in the form of a two-hour movie expected to begin production this fall and to air next year.

I saw the pilot of Looking, and I never looked back at this show lolz. It wouldn't hurt to show just a little diversity you know. There are gays of color. I'm living proof.
