Too late - it has been cancelled.

Mostly because it was too boring, and never got a big audience.

A finale episode will be filmed in September.

Eh, cancel. I only like Game of Thrones on HBO. Seems the non-premium cable channels and CW are getting all the good shows like American Horror Story, Haven, The Walking Dead, Vampire Diaries, etc.

I watched the first season on DVD and hated it by the last episode. The only character worth caring about was Richie.

pazzy saidin order for a gay themed tv show to be successful, it has to reach a bigger audience. with that said, shows like that aren't going to make it because it basically caters to a minority.

This is true, but it's also because gay audiences aren't even that interested either. There was a survey or poll Logo did awhile ago that showed gay audiences were kinda over gay-themed tv. Shows that include a gay character (Modern Family, AHS, HTGAWM) are probably as good as it gets.

Try a KickStarter......of course the Looking actors and staff would need to be on board with it. Not sure how HBO would feel about it, the "Looking" title may be copyrighted and those who wish to use it for a KickStarter project may get into trouble.

KickStarter has worked so far for Where The Bears Are web series. Every season, fans of the show have raised the money (min $150,000) to produce the show(s). There will be a season 4 as they just completed the fund raising campaign for this year. This web series started out, paid for by fans. Not major studios. If you paid enough, you get your name in the credits and are part of the production. I think if a higher priced studio produced Where The Bears Are from the beginning, it probably would not have made it past the first season before being cancelled. HBO has given up on it and its fans but still own the rights. If there are passionate fans of Looking would like to see it continue, then maybe the fans should take it over, or at least make an attempt?

Looking is boring as hell, I surprised the show goes on with a second season. I thought it will be cancelled right after the first season. The show is so bad it make me want to rewatch the entire season of queer as folk.

I agree with you Import, I loved this show. I didn't find it boring at all. I've watched season 1 on Netflix, and am waiting for them to release season 2.
This really sucks! So many shows I like end up getting cancelled.icon_cry.gif

    The show is toast, brothers!

Pack it up, Mary! HBO said NO GO to a third year of whiny Patrick and his inconsequential problems. I liked some of the other characters though.

The show was a FLOP though - less than 150,000 live viewers for most episodes this season. I'm not surprised it was cancelled.

Hola! I think sis is here! LoL!
You wanna re-watch the whole entire damn season of QAF and dreaming yourself as Justin to be Brian Kinney little slut ?
Is looking that bad or cause your life is dry and desperate?
QAF is all about too over fuck or telling everyone drugs are normal for gay people.
Looking seems getting on a right track at all.

It's a shame it has been cancelled already. I wish networks would allow a little more time for shows to establish themselves as well as a reliable viewership.

i just finished watching season 2. Man, I really loved that show (season 2 better than season 1). Looking forward to the feature-length finale to come. (And I identified with these characters much more than with those on QAF.)
