Another example of the GOP at war with itself.
It's really not a united party in any way, it's a loose collection of embittered factions that hate each other slightly less than they hate Dems, Blacks, Latinos, Gays, etc.
Good luck winning a national election by endorsing the likes of nut-jobs like Cruz or Huckabee.

While the far right is the loudest, they don't win elections, see: last six years of elections.

Can you post a story that ISN'T from The New York Times?????

What was wrong with the article? It didn't paint the subject in a negative light at all, or a positive light fo that matter. Seemed like good, solid, journalism to me.

You're a hardliner. Do you think the party should support the candidate groups like the Family Research Counsel will "coalesce" behind, or do you agree with party leadership that such a move would be a disaster?

I think if the Dems are going to put an ethically challenged lefty war hawk up there, the GOP would do much better with a moderate. If both parties go to their extremes, then I'm hopeful a truly viable independent gets some traction.

It's going to be a long nineteen months.

The "Woodsmen" posts "topics" that are copy and paste jobs ONLY from The New York Times. Seems like he's more a promotional vehicle for The Times - perhaps a New York Times sales rep.

I realize that's one of your bugaboos, but why then draw attention to it? Or better yet, why not comment with some thoughts of your own on the piece. As I said earlier, you should find it relevant.
