Assuming you mean "ooohhhh, look at my hot body", there are other venues for it. People are focused on themselves while at the gym, and they should be.

If you have the body, show it off! What's weird and somewhat funny are the guys who think they have a perfect bod and like to show off. Now that's entertainment!

It's not Photoshoppped. The rubber balls were so popular a few years back. Just about every personal trainer implemented some type of ball training with their clients. Then came the resistance bands. Then came TRX. Then came the kettle bells. Now everyone is on the crossfit train. Woo-woo! icon_lol.gif

Is that a mirror... Or twins? The waistbands aren't the same. Or the fingers.

What do you mean by showing off? Do you mean going into the locker room and posing in front of the mirror? If so, I don't have a problem with that.

But if you mean stopping someone in the middle of their workout and showing them that you can do much better....I don't think that is a good idea.

Heh, when I first posted it I said "these guys" then I thought it was a mirror and changed it to "this guy", but I think you're right, it's 2 different guys.

I was wondering that too. Then I noticed that the numbers on both weights are not reverse, so they must be different guys.

    Hot though. icon_redface.gif

It all depends on how you show off. If it is done by excessive groaning and grunting while lifting, I don't like it. But if it is done by wearing very revealing shirts, I like it.

Is showing off at the gym good or bad? It depends on what's being shown off. If you are showing off grapefruit sized perfectly symmetric calves go for it. Show off all you want. However showing off anything else at the gym is waaaaay pervy.

Considering what some guys put into their mouths, disinfecting the plates would seem to be of lesser importance.
