    What is your motivation for eating the right things?

    - Stamina
    - Faster Healing and regrowth
    - Alertness


    As a new gym goer, I'm reading about the importance of 'correct form' and 'nutrition'. Correct form I understand, but I'm a little hazy on the nutrition side of things.

    I'm constantly reading protein this and protein that - but what actually is protein, and what does it do... why do I need it so badly?

    As someone wanting to develop my upper body, can someone tell me what I should eat for breakfast, dinner and tea and also - why I should be eating those things in particular?

    there is the standard whey protein and a casein type. the casein type is longer lasting over night.
    the standard stuff might work for recovery
