Obama continually lied over Iran getting the bomb - surprise, surprise

Obama said many times that he would never support any plan that would let Iran get the bomb. Yet he now admits the current framework will allow Iran to get the bomb. Another example of his continual, willful lying to the American people and to our allies. The guy lies with the ease most people breathe.

It is a separate issue as to whether Iran could be stopped from getting the bomb, deal or no deal. What is clear is there could have been actions that were not taken: 1) deal for Russia's support as a quid pro quo for pulling out of the missile defense shield, 2) not relaxing sanctions, 3) not taking off the table the possibility of targeted military strikes.

But that question should not obscure the continual dishonesty of this guy.

    -----------------------------------

    Good analysis of the "Deal"

What we do know is that the JCPOA will turn Iran into a nuclear threshold state. Even Obama says so. The deal pushes Iran’s breakout time back to a year, Obama told NPR, but that’s only for the first ten years. “In Year 13, 14, 15,” Obama said, “they have advanced centrifuges that enrich uranium fairly rapidly, and at that point, the breakout times would have shrunk almost down to zero.”
    ...
As Bret Stephens wrote this week, it’s hard not to conclude that the White House is playing to obfuscate in order to throw critics off the scent. And it’s true that the administration has been misleading the American public as well as U.S. allies like Israel the last several years, but there’s also the fact that administration officials are making stuff up as they go along. What they know about the proposed deal is that the president wants to secure his foreign policy legacy and this is how he intends to do it—even if they don’t know exactly what the agreement stipulates and signifies.

"the continual dishonesty" is what makes it impossible to trust him about anything now. He's lied and deceived so much he has no credibility except with the people who treat him with the same fervent admiration as Jim Jones received the day of the original Koolaid party.

southbeach1500 saidOnly the truly brainwashed believe ANYTHING Obama says anymore.

While there are many liberals on RJ, most are silent on Obama's numerous examples of dishonesty. They're probably holding their noses. The only ones who continue to support him or try to deflect attention away are the true morons. We know who they are.

The Republicans are desperately trying to lie their way into another war. Fortunately the American people are having none of it this time, so the GOP can peddle their filth elsewhere.

You see no evidence of Obama lying? Are you able to refute it? Public opinion is not on your side.

    He still believes this:

I don't know if he believes anything or does much in the thinking department. You notice much of what he posts has nothing specifically related to the topic at hand. Just sound bites. Could there be far-left sites that give their members text snippets to copy from? They could have some related by topic, and some just for general use, such as what this guy uses.

Americans favor a good deal, not any deal. The details will come out. The point of this thread is about Obama lying.

Obama: Yeah, This Iran Deal Doesn't Actually Stop The Regime From Getting a Bomb

During an interview today with NPR, President Obama admitted the framework outlined in a State Department "fact sheet" and released last week only delays Iran's non-peaceful nuclear program.
    ...
A bipartisan coalition of Senators is growing in opposition to the Obama administration's deal with the regime. President Obama has said he will involve Congress in the negotiation process, so long as they agree to his terms and approve the deal. [Haha - getting close to a veto-proof bill to uphold Congress's role in ratifying treaties. Required when dealing with an outlaw president.]

Shh, don't mention the 935 documented lies of the Bush administration. They are a little too inconvenient for RJ's conservarump.
