I know a few straight guys, now in their 60s ( I've known them a looooonnnnnggg time) who are much much more feminine than that fellow. And yes, completely straight. They had it rough at times.

HA! When I saw the Title of this Thread, I too almost immediately went to that same music video by RuPaul! lol. It seems we share a Hive mentality. LIVE FOR THE SWARM!! (ZERG)

    Nerdiness aside...
Sissy gays are great. When it comes to the superficial things such as gender appropriates, one should def. live their life Honestly. If that means that you fall on the "feminine" side of the spectrum, to each their own. Slowly the U.S is starting to realize the fact that the human dynamic is privy to a vast and diverse group of peoples.

Will the insults still be there after society has a change of heart? Probably. But over time tolerance promotes understanding (or vice versa really). And with that comes (hopefully) less and less ridicule and bullying.

    He's fem? Hardly!

I have 2 effeminate straight friends. They were never bullied, people just thought they were gay and were surprised when they got girlfriends.

I've found that the first group to ever bash "Sissy" guys is the "straight acting" "I'm so butch and masculine" gays, not the straights.

That's my experience growing up in the UK though.

He's not that feminine. I think that small town did a number on his self esteem -- really canceling play dates on a 7 year old, because he wanted to be a Disney Princess... Some countries don't even have gender roles i.e. pink = girls and blue = boys...

Anyway I honestly hope he's able to move past all of that and see himself how the world sees him as a sensitive sweet heart who deserves to be happy.
