They were giving a concert together last night. One is a pianist from the Philippines, the other a violinist from Russia, both in their 20s and taking degree programs in the US.

They live in my husband's sister's home, who sponsors them. His sister was also at the concert.

Someone forced open the front door. They stole the violinist's laptop computer, which she needs for her college work. Thank gawd they didn't get her violins, which she had with her.

They got the pianist's Playstation, and my husband's sister's iPad. Along with much of her jewelry. They didn't get the pianist's iPad I gave him, because he uses it on the piano, instead of sheet music, so that was at the concert.

So now we've gotta scramble to help these young people. Humiliating to the rest of us to have that happen to them in the US.

With my husband's recent medical issues, and helping out another guy here I'm kinda tapped out at the moment. But I gotta find some way to help these "kids" (as I think of them), especially the violinist from St. Petersburg, Russia, who lost her laptop. I can give her a spare desktop computer I have right now, but I think she needs that portability of a laptop.

We've had so many unplanned expenses recently, and I know more big outlays are coming. I just don't have the reserves to manage all this.

Well, anyway, I'll make it happen somehow. These kids aren't gonna flounder in our country because of thieves. If you've ever heard them perform together, or solo, or with an orchestra, you would understand my passion to help them. Damn! Whenever you think all is going well is the time to look out. icon_sad.gif

No, the world is a better place because of the music of these 2 gifted young musicians. You wanna help them? Otherwise, I can't imagine how the world is a better place thanks to YOU. icon_razz.gif

Like Hell you were. You got what your mocking sarcasm deserved. Which wouldn't be the first time you've played that card, and the whole pattern of your past comments to me. And yet YOU'RE the injured party here. Pretty pathetic, but typical.

Of course the issue here, that haters like southbeach1500 overlook in their rush to ridicule me personally, is that 2 very gifted foreign exchange students living in our country have been robbed. For which as an American I feel personally embarrassed. As should he.

Along with my husband's sister also being robbed. The sister can survive without her jewelry, but the college students are going to have their studies disrupted.

They phoned me just an hour ago, and said they would be able to use my spare iMac. Not portable like the stolen notebook, not as useful, but better than nothing. And will let them communicate and do their homework and off-campus research.

So I'll rummage through our storage unit tomorrow, after my husband's medical procedure (he's having a spinal epidural at 8 AM). I know I'll have to buy a new keyboard, but I can run over to the nearby Apple store for that. And then drive it up to Boca Raton with it where they live.

That will help them cope for now, then I can deal with a more permanent solution later. I just need to get them connected immediately so they miss no course work.

And BTW, reference the psychotic bobbobbob's remarks: I was talking in another thread about the frustration of helping potentially emotionally unstable gays, not unlike himself. Not what I've been discussing regarding these students.

These, on the other hand, are brilliant young college exchange students, not worthless mediocrities like bobbobbob, on whom I wouldn't invest a pencil and pad. One is straight, the other gay, both well-adjusted. A concept evidently personally alien to bobbobbob.

For what it's worth I would get a regular USB keyboard and mouse. I have an iMac and I hate the wireless keyboard and mouse... The only useful feature of that mouse is if I wanted to use it for a PowerPoint presentation.

I hope your husbands surgery goes well, and you don't have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. It's okay to delegate.

Who are you without your fake heteresoxual marriage and all your support for that fat ass fake ignorant stupid Hillary Clinton?. You are not better than Republicans because people like you are fake cowards hidding in a closet
Gay men in the USA should not vote for that hungry liar Hillary Clinton. Every time I hear an homophobic woman calling faggot or queer to a gay man I laugh loudly in her face because they contradicted themselves I can be sure that that fat ass only wants gay men votes.

You are not even American -- stop talking about our politicians. Seriously the way you talk about ladies makes me question your relationship with your mother. I don't think I could ever date a man who didn't love his mother. Guys who don't love their mothers tend to have a lot of issues, unless they whole heartily love their grandmother or another guardian.

I can't force myself to read the much egocentric narcissistic drama.

The funny part is that he just doesn't see what he's doing.... or how ridiculous it is... just one of the many red flags of a narcissistic personality.

But then again it is consistent if you think about it. We all remember that he posted that nude picture of his bare backside in an attempt to prove that he wasn't a nasty fat ass lying queen.

Referring to something he said on another thread about his friends calling him Saint Robert.... I died laughing that he would be so vain to take such **psychophantrick (sic) flattery (and possible sarcasm) as serious enough to repeat as proof of his character.

    (**pronounced like sychophantric)

Keep this handy in case the famous flat fat ass picture gets posted on this thread.

This is one of the reasons I grow more disinclined to save people, the blowback.

Granted I don't talk about what I do but I can certainly understand the occasional complaint from someone who does because no one's a saint and there are plenty of martyrs. Nobody likes a martyr until they need one. And if one person is inspired to contribute for every 30 turned off I'd take those odds. Keep on talkin' Art!

We greatly regret to inform you that your retraction request was not submitted in a timely enough fashion for us to act upon. Sainthood was already confirmed upon the aforesaid candidate. Once conferred, sainthood may only be withdrawn in the most extraordinary circumstances. If it is your desire to appeal this confirmation, we request that you submit a cheque for $ 1000 payable to the Office of the Holy Inquisition at your earliest convenience.

For being the only fat ass nasty lying hypocritical queen I have ever heard of who started a thread about his own hatred for OTHER fat people ... you really come across as a low life pile or runny cat shit calling anyone else a hater.
