    FLY EAGLES FLYYYYYYYYY...

My favorite Tweet so far, from @ChipKellysBalls:

"In his first act as an Eagle, Tim Tebow healed everyone's ACLs and forgave Riley Cooper ..."

    Go get 'em, Timmy!

Thankfully, someone whose football opinion counts in judging "talent" - Chip Kelly - doesn't see it that way. Regardless, Tim has his work cut out for him making the roster. I'm praying for him to do great cuz football is a lot of fun when he's on the field.

NYT: How will Tebow fare after two years away from the game? What role does Coach Chip Kelly have in mind for him? Will he be embraced by the tough fans?

But the most conspicuous is this: Just how many quarterbacks do the Eagles need?

It is one thing to stockpile receivers or defensive backs. But teams can use only one quarterback at a time, and sometimes having even two candidates for starter can lead to a controversy that eats up a team. Now the Eagles have five quarterbacks, three of whom have started N.F.L. games.

But in another twist, precisely zero of the five could be considered proven, successful N.F.L. starters.

Eagles can't soar with a turkey.

Why does anybody want this born-again no-talent fool back on the field? WTF is wrong with y'all.

I guess that since the NFL has changed from the National Football League to the National Felony League, evidently they need his endless praying and bible thumping to save them from themselves.icon_cool.gif

Apparently, you don't have much of a football mind. Then again, based on some of your recent ranting posts, I'm questioning your mind altogether icon_razz.gif

Oh reallyicon_question.gif FYI, my mind is perfectly normal despite having slight to mild depression. My recent posts do not have any ranting like you falsely claim. Because I am not a blind sycophant to the "I am ready for Hillary" crowd you are condemning me. Are you going extreme leftisticon_question.gif

As for Tim Tebow, he is a glorified has been that has very little talent and his past NFL job performance proves that. He sucks as a pro, bottom line. His rear end is going to be warming the bench on the sidelines in Philadelphia.

Ironically, as bad as his stats are, his teams frequently win. They're never blow out games and they don't dominate, but all that counts is the win column. He has a proven work ethic and has experience, so why not take a chance? At worst, he doesn't make the roster and at best, you get an experienced qb cheap.

One of the coolest things about Tim Tebow is that he has defied his critics his entire football life since he was in high school. His first high school football coach said he wasn't QB material, so he switched schools and later won the state championship and then became the most sought after college recruit in the country (hence "The Chosen One", the documentary ESPN did on Tebow when he was a 17 year old high school senior -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mr6rcxqy3n8 )

Two NCAA Championships, a Heisman, and his only "starting" NFL season ending up within 2 games of a Super Bowl later, and his critics still say things like Tebow...

Here's to hoping Philly coach Chip Kelly sees something that the naysayers are seemingly blinded to.

Yeah, he will see that the naysayers were right all along and that Tebow just doesn't have what it takes to be a successful pro football star. This right wing clown will fall apart on the field and than his flabby rear end will be parked on the bench in as much the same way as when he was with the New York Jets. Go figure.
