Well Nightmare Revisited is all the songs sung by different artist and some are AWESOME!

I like Marilyn Manson's rendition of "This is Halloween" most it's so creepy

Amy Lee does a great job too :-)

    Amy Lee was okay.
Fiona Apple does a way better version of Sally's Song in my opinion.

Amazing movie with amazing songs. In my country damn hard thing to get this movie, but I am the lucky one with original DVD. Danny Elfman is a genius!

I LOVE the original movie, for it's animation, storyline and mostly, music. I think that not only are the individual songs really well written but Danny Elfman did an amazing job of weaving leitmotifs (individual character's themes) together in different ways and with modulated keys, altered rhythms etc so that even though there are only a handful of melodies in the entire movie you rarely feel like you're listening to the same song again, except when he wants you to. As a result I think the soundtrack is even greater than its parts. The unique voicings are also pretty cool and definitely add to the mood.

I've listened to the revisited CD but I think in having different musicians sing the songs the album loses its completeness. I didn't really like it so much... Just my opinion though.

I love Tiger Army's remake of "Oogie Boogie Man" It's only on the iTunes version.

Of course, any time I hear Nick 13 sing, I imagine him doing it in bed with me icon_twisted.gif

If the, er, musicians, involved were of a more creative caliber it could have been a really neat album.

    Rocky Horror Punk Show FTW

Heh. Funny enough my straight friends on our game team were also raving about it recently. One of them made a comment that made me laugh out loud 'Wait till my goth girl friends hear about it, they'll cream their pants'.

Hmm... maybe I should try getting a copy.
