Bobby Jindal Threatens Businesses To Not 'Bully' Him Over Anti-Gay Marriage Bill For 'Christians'

The New York Times just published an op-ed by Gov. Bobby Jindal that is ugly, anti-business, anti-gay, and violates the principles of the First Amendment.

Poor, idiotic Bobby, former GOP star and now a leading crank, governing a state with severe financial, health, environmental and educational problems - but still able to find time to fan fear and discrimination. And all done with no coherent thought!

Read the NYT on-line comments; they're running 900 to 1 condemning this idiot's garbage.

Fuck you guvnah! Proud gay Louisiana man who's marrying a proud gay Mexican man. That should send your conservative hateful self into a tailspin.

I should send him an invitation.

Louisiana has no leverage against business, especially over this. This is the dumbest governor of all the states.

There are several ironies. First, he decided to have his letter published by The New York Times, a newspaper that he decried as part of the liberal media. Second, he said that gay marriage is "radical" while at the same time admitted that the majority agrees with it. Why would something be "radical" if the majority agrees with it?

Bobby Jindal is a major liability to the GOP. The man presides over a poor state with horrendous infrastructure, lousy quality education, and numerous environmental problems. Yet most Louisiana voters keep putting him back in the governor's chair in Baton Rouge. I just don't get iticon_question.gif

Low information voters tend to be the ones who vote en masse, and there are A LOT of low information, vote happy Republicans in Louisiana.

Bobby Jindal and his two fellow stooges Mike Huckabee, and Rick the dick Perry should have a three way competition on who is the dumbest, most fucked up fundamentalist.

The gist of his editorial is that he doesn't care how much his anti-gay law harms his state's economy/tourism industry, or how much damage is done to local businesses or how many jobs are lost... discriminating against gay people is more important to him than any of those considerations.
This is what happens when you elect Republicans.

Agree. This intelligent, educated, "book smart but real world stupid" man, Piyush "Bobby" Jindal, inherited a budget surplus. He has ran up HUGE deficits by lowering taxes on businesses, wrecked the state's heath & hospital system and depleted the once enviable Louisiana state colleges to the point of filing for bankruptcy. He has sucked up to the oil & gas industry for all the "campaign donations" that he can get.

All in his quixotic, megalomaniac quest to become our next POTUS. He wants to do to the rest of the USA what he has done to Louisiana.

He is so full of himself than he just cannot see how the elderly, bigoted, wealthy "Pale Males" who control today's Republican party would NEVER pick a brown skinned man as their POTUS candidate.

Hoping that he will NEVER hold any public office position after this January.

Yeah, I read today LSU may have to file for bankruptcy, or its equivalent for a state college, "exigency". And this is the record of which Jindal is so proud?
