I was in NYC this weekend and went to the 9/11 Memorial Museum. If anyone has not yet seen it, I would recommend it. It's very moving and very well done. A fitting tribute to those who died that day in NYC and in Washington, D.C. and in Pennsylvania. The exact footprints of the twin towers are now two huge fountains with marble ledges inscribed with the names of those who died that day. It took me about 2 and 1/2 hours to go through the exhibit. The exhibit also has displays and memorials to those who died at the Pentagon on American flight 77 and in Pennsylvania on United flight 93. At the end of the exhibit, there is a long escalator going up to street level. It gives you time to gather your thoughts, process them, and reflect and come back to present day.
