Apply Menendez standard to HIllary: she'd be under indictment; Apply Bob McDonnell standard: she'd be on her way to the big house

It wasn’t too long ago that the media were full of stories about the arrest and conviction of former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell and his wife for corruption. But that case was brought, and a conviction obtained, without any so-called “smoking gun” evidence of a quid-pro-quo. A pattern of monies and services flowing to the governor, and (compared to Hillary Clinton’s State Department) comparatively minor official government acts was enough to send the former guv to the big house.

Scarborough rant rips media’s hypocritical double standard for discussing Clinton corruption

Earlier today, Joe Scarborough uncorked a much-needed rant about double standards in the media for scandal coverage. One Twitter follower of mine said he “stood and applauded” at the end of this 91-second speech. Mika Brzezinski had apparently just accused Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer of political motivations for writing his meticulously researched book and releasing it this spring, and her Morning Joe host erupted in frustration:

SCARBOROUGH: I gotta jump in here — I haven’t said anything, I’ve gotta jump in here. I don’t get this. I’ll be really honest. I’m looking around here, and I don’t get this. I’m certainly — I mean, if Peter’s been reckless, go ahead, say he’s been reckless. But I worked with guys in Congress that went golfing like one or two times in Ireland, and then six months later put a bill on the floor of the House, and they went to jail!

Excerpt from link to help compare the severity of Menendez's alleged actions with Hillary's. It is widely believed the prosecution is pay-back for his vocal opposition to Obama's Iran initiatives and to attempt to remove him from continuing on that path. Follows the pattern of the corrupt DOJ.

Menendez (D-N.J.) intervened in two cases involving Melgen, a West Palm Beach ophthalmologist and campaign donor, one in a billing dispute with the government and another regarding a port-security contract in the Dominican Republic. Menendez also reimbursed Melgen for three flights on the doctor's private jet that the senator initially did not disclose.

The senator twice contacted the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which found that Melgen had overbilled the government by $8.9 million. Menendez also asked about a port-security contract in the Dominican Republic held by a company whose investors include Melgen.

Apply the same standards given to Bernie Madoff... or Chelsea's father in law... or Rep. James Traficant (D-OH) and she AND Bill would be locked up in Club Fed prisons for a long time.

You do know that Hillary and Bill were good friend$$$$ with Dr. Salomon Melgen before he and Menendez met? Bill even vacationed at Melgen's Jamaica estate where Melgen's "girlfriends" were getting EB5 visas at $500,000 a pop, most likely from Hillary brother Anthony through his Gulf Coast Fund Management scam.
