Gay marriages caused Baltimore Riots

In a Wednesday radio appearance on the anti-LGBT Family Research Council’s “Washington Watch,” U.S. Rep. Bill Flores (R) argued that marriage equality contributes to “the breakdown of the family” and therefore to higher rates of poverty, which could account for the protests in Baltimore.

They were just in the (Pennsylvania Ave-get it) neighborhood, decided to become hidden "outside agitators" and make trouble in Baltimore blaming "the other side", burning the Catholic senior housing project, now that was convincingly priceless icon_rolleyes.gif

That is the most idiotic thing that I ever heard. Gay marriage caused the riots in Baltimore. Did it also cause the earthquake in Nepalicon_question.gif Another native Texan who just loves to show his mental retardation to the whole world. But it is Texas, the giant tea party state where being stupid is both a family value and a Texas tradition. Go figure.

Post hoc ergo propter hoc. Nice try, Congressman, but any "breakdown" of the family in Baltimore (or anywhere in the US) preceded same-sex marriage by decades.

Maybe if wages outpaced inflation, and both parents didn't have to work just to make ends meet, then the fictitious ideal of Ward and June Cleaver might be closer to reality.

Gay marriage is not responcible, the recent acts as far as Ferguson are from those who were clearly against Dr King's speech, and Obama's win years ago. Why people play the race card I'll never know, my previous bf's and most of my friends are not white, and there's never been bad blood on either side.

You know what the only silver lining in this is? That mother who got caught on camera going after the young man. I know if I ever acted the way those hoodlums are acting I wouldn't fear the police or even my dad as much as my mom. I'm 6'5" and over 30 but I KNOW she'd kick my ass soundly . . . because that's NOT how she raised me! I thought that he viral exposure of her courageous outrage and action is something more parents should take to heart when they create the miscreants who cause this type of civil unrest!

Oh we were responsible for the riots? I thought we were just responsible for Nepal. I must have missed checking an agenda item.

Marriage makes it to SCOTUS and we didn't even get top billing on the fucking evening news.

    We were fourth, under weather.

First there were those rude Nepalese who had the nerve to be crushed to death during that earthquake God sent to swallow up all the gay people there.

Then there were those black rioters stealing our limelight during all that looting gays are responsible for.

And then those terrible rain storms, caused by the passing wind of gay anal sex.

And then, finally, there was our human rights and dignities up for grabs at SCOTUS.

    Such a busy gay agenda.

Also, we cater parties. So book early or we'll cause a volcano to erupt.

    volcano-o.gif

Don't fuck with the gay. We mean it this time.

Distgusting. Funny how you rarely, if ever, see the RJ conservative regulars condemning this sort of right-wing homophobic bigotry. They are very much in evidence when it comes to criticizing what they perceive as liberal excess. Any sort of support for gay rights is conspicuous by its absence in their posts. Southbeach1500, for example, has almost 25,000 posts to his name (on this gay website), not one of them expressing even nuanced support for gay rights or gay people generally. If he was as vigilant in supporting gay rights as he is at throwing insults in Art_Deco's direction, the site would probably be a better place.

yeah, this is what disturbs me. I can get over his hate for Obama or Democrats, but I hardly see any conservatives come out openly to condemn such things. They are only voicing out loud their opinion if it's something related to Democrats. Why would they need a gay website for that?

pazzy saidthink the people that are actually paying the person attention who said that where they're giving him a platform by spreading what he said and even mentioning the guy's name are just as bad as him. he doesn't need any attention except when election day when it's time to vote his ass out.

Except that if you don't know what he's up to you won't know to vote him out. icon_wink.gif

They're just toeing their party line for now. Fear not, should the Republican platform ever delete denouncement of us, their revisionism will kick in and they'll attempt to take credit for the entire gay rights movement. So if you think their current behavior is annoying, count your blessings, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
