This year I watched Attack on Titan and damn, that was some of the best television I've ever seen! Afterwards, I watched Parasyte: the Maxim and now I'm in the middle of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Any other animes worth mentioning? Tell me I'm not the only one who's gotten completely obsessed with Attack on Titan!

Fullmetal Alchemist is awesome. I haven't watched any good anime lately really, I'm looking forward to the final episodes of naruto shippuuden though.. A good mention if you haven't watched it is this live action movie called Tetsuo: Iron Man. it does have a little gay content suprisingly (slightly). but check it out its very anime the way it was filmed and great movie, it has a cult following

Really into Fairy Tail, it's hit or miss, but I like certain arcs. Mostly, though, in to older anime, Like Saber Marionette, Slayers, and Outlaw Star.

I think some people tend to stick to a certain era in anime. I like Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Witch Hunter Robin, Planetes and Wolf's Rain, but i haven't watched anything more recent.

Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, How'ls moving castle, My Neighbour Totoro, Studio Ghibli knows how to make anime! I only watched the first season of Pokemon - for me, there are only 151 Pokemon and the last one is Mewtwo! Also watched Deathnote, but they dragged it way too much.

Have you guys seen Attack on Titan? What's your thoughts about it? It was a major hit in Japan and a new live action movie is set to premiere in June!

This is probably one of my favorites scenes in the whole anime.
Check out the soundtrack starting at 0.50... I think it is just perfection, I get goosebumps everytime I see it!

Can you recomend me other cool animes? Dark, twisted, great story, characters and cliffhangers?

I used to watch Fullmetal Alchemist on its Adult Swim run; haven't caught the latest because it's just way too...involved...to catch up with.

I think Inuyasha is very fun though. Simple premise, easy to catch up with.

Probably the thing I like about anime is that the stories develop a rich mythology that's much more inventive than Western counterparts.

there's many series worth noting, but for me they're older ones. if you like shorter series, I fully advise Witch Hunter Robin, and for an anime that pokes fun at anime itself, Excel Saga and Genshiken are notable examples. Eden of the East was nice. A really good series to provoke thought would be Serial experiments: LAIN, ergo:proxy, or Shiki.

I have a friend from high school who's much more into anime than I am, and he has given me 3 series to watch from last summer that I haven't been able to give the appropriate time to see (I can't work on artwork with subtitled shows that demand my attention the whole time they're playing) but he did hand me: Devil is a Fast Food Worker, Log Horizon (like .hack, but less serious), and Vikings.

I've wanted to see slayers through (since those protagonists are so damn funny) but I just haven't had the chance to.

I think the first anime that I've seen was DragonBall, although I can't barely remember it. Afterwards, watched Pokemon but only the first season.

After Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood I'm looking foward for either Code Geass or Tokyo Ghoul, but from my research on the Internet Cowboy Bebop is one of the best of all time.

Some good ones have been mentioned (Toyko Ghoul and Akame Ga Kill you must see if you liked Attack On Titan!), I also really enjoyed Deadman Wonderland and the Fate/Zero series too for dark and twisted.

AOT is awesome! It's what really hooked me on the world of anime. Satoshi Kons Paprika was a good movie if you're into more drama fuelled animes, I loved the animation in it. Really anything by Satoshi Kon is good. Also Sword Art Online is another favourite series of mine.

Wow, so many! I tried watching SOA (watched like 4 episodes) but I never really liked RPG's so I was never able to connect to the show.
