    In your opinion where is your favorite place to go skiing or boarding?

    I'm partial to Crested Butte and Telluride, but I have lived both places.

    I know it's not fashionable to say it but I like Aspen/Snowmass. I'm no longer doing the black double-diamond runs (don't ski often enough to enjoy the harder runs) and these slopes have had great snow and grooming every time I've been there. Plus the food at night is great. And the town is fun to walk around after dinner. Caribou Club is fun for backgammon and dancing.

    Europe: Chamonix
    USA: Aspen
    Canada: Whistler

    Only Aspen is a great "town" . But the skiing is great at all. Chamonix has a number of villages to stay in - best to bring your own apres-ski company.

    Telluride is pretty cool and I've always liked Vail.

    But I've always been partial to little Vermont towns like Fayson/Waitsfield (Mad River Glen) and Ludlow (Okemo)

    I grew up in Colorado and was practically born with skis on. I've skied pretty much every area in Colorado and my favorite bar none is Vail. Love the back bowls and the whole vibe of the town. 2nd favorite would probably be Winter Park

    * Beaver Creek & Vail, Colorado
    * Deer Valley, Utah
    * Squaw Valley & Alpine, California
    * St. Moritz, Switzerland
    * Whistler, Canada
    * Sugar Bowl, California
    * Jackson Hole, Wyoming
