Bigotry is a behavior ... not a civil right

You expect homophobes to research our genetic difference to have a better understanding and acceptance of us, yet you won't even click a link to answer your own question?
    That's kinda lazy brah.

If being homosexual is a behavior, being heterosexual is a behavior. No civil right for anyone?

There are two fundamental mistakes displayed on this billboard.

The first is that being gay is not something you are born with; thus, it isn't "real."

The second is that homosexuality is a "behavior," which makes to idiotic assumptions: that all homosexuals behave the same way, and that even if a given homosexual were to be completely abstinent, somehow that person is "sinning" by simply being homosexual (so no chance of redemption - you're damned for what you are, not what you do; no sense in bothering to "good" - you're damned anyway).

Which is all a sort of loop: you can't be gay because homosexuality is not real and thus a choice, but because you really are homosexual after all, you're condemned.

I wonder if any of these fear-filled, pro-hatred types have ever had a complete think about the contradictions they spout?

So let's call it what it is: condemning/excluding someone for who they are is apartheid, and the first step toward genocide. It's ugly - but there it is. And I think we should start to call it what it is.

Either that billboard was funded by a black church or they are using blacks as a pawn to vilify gay people. If it is indeed a black church, they are reading the Bible very selectively because the Bible supports and regulates slave ownership in detail. Here are Bible verses in support of slave ownership new and old testament (Leviticus 25:44-46 (NLT)), (Exodus 21:2-6 (NLT)), Jesus Christ thinks slaves should be beaten too (Luke 12:47-48 (NLT)), (1 Timothy 6:1-2 (NLT)), (Ephesians 6:5 (NLT)), (Exodus 21:20-21 (NAB)).

Do conservatives have no issues left except hating on gay people? They seem to think about nothing else.

I love that term homoflexible. I know some straight guys who can swing the other way after enough beer or their girlfriend is out of town for two weeks or they see a dick big enough that it captures their attention.

Free speech. You can't really police what people say, no matter how untrue it might be or how offensive. At this point, it's redundant to keep complaining about this things, because they aren't going away. Just ignore them.

    Exactly

I know it's crazy but I am not offended or even slightly heated by this cuz it's just speech, we all know they will not win whatever fight they are trying to stir up. I see the other side make just as bold and rash statements, stupid. icon_rolleyes.gif

We really need to restrain all these narrow minded bible thumping screwballs. Free speech is one thing but horrible misinformation and lies like this can have devastating consequences.
