    NYT:

Mike Huckabee - In addition to running for President he is also in infomercials hawking a dubious diabetes treatment of cinnamon and some other concoction.

Carly Fiorina - Laid off 30,000 people; collapse Hewlett-Packard’s stock price; fired as chief executive officer; left with a $21 million severance package. She then lost a Senate race in California by a million votes.

Dr. Ben Carson - Said homosexuality was a choice, because “people go into prison straight — and when they come out, they’re gay.”

Senator Ted Cruz - Has some concern about the nefarious designs of our military.

Obama: stated that being gay is a lifestyle choice in his interview with Glozell.

Obama's "Good Friend", the Sultan of Brunei passed a law to execute gays by stoning.

Hillary: has accepted in excess of 100 million dollars from countries which imprison and execute gays.

Find me a Republican Presidential Candidate who has accepted money from countries which imprison and execute gays.

    2011

The Obama administration announced this week that it would use U.S. aid to promote gay rights abroad. President Obama issued a memorandum laying out the new policy, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva that “gay rights and human rights are… one and the same.”

Rick Perry was the first GOP presidential candidate to criticize the new policy:

"Promoting special rights for gays in foreign countries is not in America’s interests and not worth a dime of taxpayers’ money.

But there is a troubling trend here beyond the national security nonsense inherent in this silly idea. This is just the most recent example of an administration at war with people of faith in this country. Investing tax dollars promoting a lifestyle many Americas of faith find so deeply objectionable is wrong."

Republicans were once a great party, defined by sober progressives like Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Eisenhower. What a difference sixty years makes. Today's Rethuglican Party is so far right that Goldwater would blush.

Conservatives have no ideas to keep America great, modern, and growing --so of course all they can do is attack Hillary. Conservatives are out of step with voters and with the future on every issue. Republicans want to deny gay couples equality. Republicans want to deny students buried under debt any relief and cut food stamps to the poor so they can shower billionaires with tax cuts. Republicans want to deny Latino immigrants a chance to work. Republicans cheer as black men are shot in the back by rogue, racist police. Republicans want to deny women access to safe abortions so women will have to have their rapisys' babies or die in unsafe back alley abortions. Republicans deny the science of climate change to sell out the environment to big oil. Republicans want to deny a chance for peace with Iran so they can send poor kids off to die in another ill-advised ground war.

Jeb Bush. Marco Rubio. Rand Paul. Ben Carson. Ted Cruz. Scott Walker. Mike Huckabee. Carly Fiorina. They all represent failed ideologies of the past. With the demographics they need to win shrinking in every subsequent Presidential election, none of them will come close to causing Hillary to lose the states Obama won unless they renounce their backwards party platform and stop pandering to the bigotry and stupidity of their base. Which one of them has the guts to do so?

MiataNJ, While it's worth noting, what does the Clinton's have to do with "Summary of a Few GOPs on the Presidential Clown Bus"?

A separate topic if you want. But it has 0 to do with subject at hand. It makes you look desperate.

Of course if I raise the Bushes record in the past I'm going "off topic" (even when it is).

^^^^ None of that is going to make me lose sleep. There's not one that list who deserves to be called a serious candidate.

As much as some on here think I'm a Hillary Fan, I'm just as interested in seeing other Democrats too.

Donald Trump is starting look halfway reasonable compared to several of the other jokers in the GOP clown car.
