Well lads, I never really post around here but this is something I feel really strongly about. This Friday, the 22nd of May, we will be having a referendum in Ireland to see if same-sex couples are entitled to get married and be recognised equally in terms of marriage.
Although previously a very conservative and traditional country, Ireland has emerged in the past few years to be quite tolerant with respect to homosexual couples and other minorities.

Right now my heart is in my mouth as the count down is on (only 4 more sleeps!).. Polls as recently as last week are showing a 80% support for the passing of the referendum but polls have been proven to be a false indicator in the past!

If passed, this would be a massive step for Ireland and us Irish people towards building an even better society for us to live in.
If it fails my faith in the Irish people will be damaged irreparably.

If you made it this far and have any opinions on the matter do feel free to jot them down.

    4 more days...
    Love ye guys <3
