a few days ago i researched the housing in my area.
-most figures were for the last quarter of 2014.
-reporting the first quarter of 2015 was rare and those predicting the 2015 future varied all over the place.
-zillow was the worst; they foretasted 3% growth for 2014 and we apparently experienced 8-13% Zillow is still forecasting 3% growth, good for them.
redfin.com is a zillow alternative

at least 1/3 of the permits were for 3-5 story investment apartment buildings but Denver city & county does not break down residential building permits so their data is lousy. A person building a garage might have the same status as a 14 million dollar project.
i predict as we enter into the election year the economy will be doing much better.
Northern Colorado has significant oil&gas employment and reports are they are these companies are laying off. Likely bad for Texas too.
