US special envoy for human rights of LGBT travels to Jamaica

    WASHINGTON (CMC) – The United States Special Envoy for the Human Rights of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender) Persons, Randy Berry, is due in Jamaica on Thursday.

    The US Department of States said Berry will visit the Caribbean island through Saturday.

    The department also said United States Agency for International Department (USAID) Senior LGBT Coordinator Todd Larson is also visiting Jamaica to “discuss the human rights of LGBT persons and other marginalized groups.”

    Definitely agree. There are a lot of really good people who want to see this country be on the right side of history and stop oppressing those they have a unfounded fear of.
