Here's my problem with this. As usual, the media is betraying gay men as prancing fairies, when the majority of us aren't discernible from any other heterosexual. It makes me sick that this is the only way they will allow us into their living rooms, as a cliché and a byword. But on another note I've always loved Patrick Stewart

This would be less of a problem if more of us who defied the stereotype would actually admit that we are gay. The "prancing fairies" seem to be the only ones that have the balls to be exactly who they are and face whatever comes their way. The big, bold, "manly" gay stereotype defying men (often) seem to wither from the moment when it counts. You so much as suggest to him that he should come out and cowers away from the test, all while blaming the fairies. What's the point of being so tough if when it counts, we run away from it? And yes, I was one of those guys for 36 years....

Patrick Stewart has one of the coolest voices in showbiz! I would probably buy a recording of him saying random things for an hour, just to listen to his cool voice. His performance in that movie was "Eh" at best.

    And @ Wodfordr
My sentiments Exactly! How does one expect representation if he/she is in hiding? If more gay men/women came out and actively voiced themselves, heterosexuals opinions might change. Heck, even if you could change one persons opinion about something...consider it a win! lol. But I do understand its tough sometimes . And a person should only come out when ready (and in a safe environment). So yea....
