I have recently been introduced to a guy who after spending time with, i have gained feelings for. We get along really well and clearly enjoy eachothers company. There is the one problem of him being engaged... He obviously isnt too committed to his engagement as he has made the decision to move up north for work, but that would obviously mean leaving behind his current relationship. I havn't known this guy for that long but my feelings toward him are getting stronger by the day but i dont really know what i should do? Any advice?

    Thanks

Stop being a creep, get pictured, profile, create a plan for success, and FIND SOMEONE ELSE. THE GUY IS ENGAGED.

Ah - but does he have the same "strong" feelings for you? Best to wait until/if if breaks it off with the other guy. You might be his temporary diversion.

Ditto chuckystud. Dude have some intergrity, don't wreck people's relationship. It's an another thing if they eventually broke up and you got with the guy you want eventually. Other wise don't intervene in other people's relationship, that's just plain nasty.

Creep him some more and then when you finally do the deed make sure to record it and then blackmail him for all he's worth.

    It's a foolproof plan.
No one is guaranteed to get hurt if followed properly.

Part A... There's your pain and feelings for this guy. This sucks and every guy or girl alive has fallen for someone they didn't end up with for whatever reason. That pain is real and the sooner you move on with the rest of your life... the sooner you'll move on with the rest of your life.

Part B... And then there is the morality and integrity failures of hoping a guy cheats on his significant other so that YOU CAN BE HAPPY WITH HIM ALONE. Don't be the desperately available guy waiting for a sloppy second.

Important question that is being left out of the loop:

do you (yes you TC) need to be in a monogamous relationship with someone to love them?

And... do they feel the same?

other than that, finishing your profile here and looking elsewhere isn't the "worst" move you could make ;)

The fact that you had to make a topic thread already shows that you know inside this is wrong to do.
Beyond this whole "fair game" kind of bullshit nonsense there are things like honour, respect, human decency etc.

Practice those things and don't be an idiot who tries to get between a relationship that is bonded enough for the people involved to want to get engaged.

The answer is simple. STOP SPENDING TIME WITH HIM!
Not just so that you let these feelings go, but simply out of respect for the guy and his partner.

For crying out loud do gay men have no decency or conscience at all any more?
This should be a no brainer for crying out loud ...

    NICE!!!

I've been in THIS "SITUATION" Many times... Truth & Sincerity is the best path. Let him know Exactly how you feel about him and how your feelings WILL impact every his current situation. After all,,, the ultimate decision is His! If he has a strong commitment with his so-called engagement then he WILL make the ultimate decision.... Just let him know then CUT OFF ALL communications with him!!!! If their love for each other is genuine then he will not pursue a relationship with you. But if he finds his way back to YOU,,, Then go for it! YOUR ONLY JOB IS TO LET HIM KNOW!!! Just remember that old saying "ALL IS FARE IN LOVE & WAR!!!! Good Luck!!!!

Sometimes, he's just someone who is good at making friends. I think op is confusing friendship with love.

    And probably trolling us all.
